We all know what a quadcopter is but you cannot just start building your own without proper definition,a quadcopter is a multi rotor helicopter propelled by four rotors.

      Parts of a basic  quadcopter includeinclude.
1.frame frame is the main work of your copter you can design how you want your frame to look like, a frame contains the drone electrical components it has centre where you mount the electrical components .four arms extended from the centre ,most frame are produced from wood,aluminum  and carbon.
2.a brushless motors differentiate from a conventional DC motors in that it does not have brushes rather it relies on coil and magnets to power the shafts brushless motors come in different types size and consumption.
3.propeller  are types of fan that transmitt power by converting rotational motion into thrust.
4.electronic speed controller.it gives out high frequency signals to keep the drone motors running.
5.batteries. Use lipo batteries they are light, drone pilot usually use 3sp battery three battery cell connected in series each cell contains 3.7volts of power.

  Now you know the basic components of a quadcopter and their functions, don't you think you can build your own with this guide.

           Components required.
1.coreless motors 4x   7 x 16mm.
2.propeller 5,5cm 4x.
3.battery lipo 3.7v 500mah.
4.pop sick sticks.
5.transmitter.
6.receiver.
   Follow this guide to build your own quadcopter.

Step 1.measure the popstick draw a line in the centre of each stick, Arrange them in a cross, the two line you have drawn should intersect in the middle. use a glue gun to hold the stick together, you will have a wooden frame with four arms and four corners.

Step 2.drill a hole in each corner their you will attach the brushless motors and propeller in the hole.

Step 3.cut out four mounts with cutter,place the mounts at the inner ends of each arm gauge the distance they should be able to support the receiver.

4.mount the receiver and coreless motors in the centre.

5.Attache the propeller at each corners, tilt the forward and backward propeller to the right so that they rotate to the right,tilt the right and left ones so that they rotate to the left.

Step 6.mount the lipo batteries in the centre of the plane with a glue gun.
Step 7.bend the steel paper clips, mount them on each arm of the frame this should give it stability.

Step 8.place LED lights on the mount next to the coreless motors.

Step 9.Test your drive.   
              Things you should consider when building your quadcopter

1.a lighter small battery will allow your customized drone to fly higher.

2.use transmitters and receivers with fewer amps too many amps may weigh your quadcopter down.

3.since you are building a basic quadcopter you should use small propeller with faster motors that spin fast.
